THE TURBINE
The XEMC-Darwind turbine has been designed with one aim in mind: to be perfect for offshore conditions. This resulted in the 5 MW turbine that conceals its power in a combination of ‘less is more’ design and the use of high-tech materials. Features include a direct drive, permanent magnets, a single main bearing, innovative blades, a modern fully sealed turbine and an integrated management control system. Our 5 MW turbine is a top down - bottum up offshore turbine design.
